Proof that Lara Croft would be an amazing pole dancer (Tomb Raider (2011))

Two UK cosplayers and self-proclaimed Tomb Raider fanatics took first place in an amateur pole dancing contest recently with a gravity-defying routine that would make their videogame counterpart proud. Emy and Bex, university students in Bristol, drew inspiration for their first-place performance from Emy?s favorite female in gaming, Lara Croft.

?I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tomb Raider games. I have merchandise, DIY costumes, the Anniversary costume, posters, figures, all the games, etc. It was the early Tomb Raider games that got me into computers in the first place when I was little!? Emy relayed toStella?s Tomb Raider Blog.

While pole-dancing is typically viewed as an activity strictly seen in strip clubs, a growing number of women have taken up the hobby as a form of exercise. After watching the moves by both Emy and Bex there?s no denying the amount of strength and athleticism necessary for this hobby. Thankfully, this isn?t the first time Lara Croft was used as inspiration for a jaw-dropping pole routine. Just check out Chelle?s first-place performance below:
