League of Legends Dominion launch fast approaching, says Riot

We?re really excited about League of Legends Dominion. The new mode promises to shake up the popular MOBA on several levels, offering players an alternative to the traditional DotA-style lane pushing with shorter matches, new summoner spells, and new items to craft from the shop ? all set on the Crystal Scar, a brand new map laden with control points and intersecting paths.

In a recent update on the official LoL site, Riot Games revealed that the new mode will be launching very soon. To help players prepare for the awesomeness that is sure to follow the release of Dominion, the developer has shared lots of new details, highlighting a ton of new Dominion-specific items and weapons that will be available on the new map at launch.

The items themselves have been viewable in game for some time now, but since it seems that Riot Games is running out things to reveal and tease, the actual release can?t be far away, right?

On another League-related note, it?s still not too late to pick up a copy of the November issue of PC Gamer, which includes a redeemable League of Legends code that will unlock ranged champion Caitlyn along with an exclusive Arctic Warfare skin!
