Crysis 2 (Limited Edition) - Souvenirs, Dog Tags, Car Keys, Emails, Traffic Cameras Guide

                                        Crysis 2                                      Extras Guide _______________________________________________________________________________  Alcatraz saves all his weapon attachments (mostly), armor modules, nano-credits, and collectibles (all artwork related) to a profile save. The only thing the auto-save tracks is the equipment you had and the last checkpoint you activated. This means you can replay previous levels with the same modules and attachments you found (except the pistol/FELINE suppressor, which gets deleted more often than not).  If you are exploring for collection items (the dog tags, car keys, souvenirs, traffic cameras, and emails), you can get the item, die and you need not try for it again (sometimes saving you the ammo and time of exploring). All in all, the game goes a lot faster if you are ignoring the extras and exploring.  All the extras will be listed in the order you'd find them while going through a stage. Sometimes, you can back-track, but in some cases you cannot. All the collectibles you hold the reload button to take. For the traffic cameras, you simply sprint towards the camera to trigger it.  _______________________________________________________________________________   1 - In the Deep End  There is nothing to find in this stage.  _______________________________________________________________________________   2 - Second Chance  x1 Dog Tag - Next to Prophet's corpse after you pick up his handgun.  x1 Emails - In the courtyard of "Castle Clinton" (you can go back to the castle from the CELL encampment) where you get the stealth tutorial, check the table with the handgun pick-up for the PDA.  x1 Souvenir - At the corner of the NYC street (past the security door and Ceph ship sighting), there is a pharmacy called "The DrugSt*re". The souvenir is on the counter near some electrical sparks.  x1 Camera - At the intersection near the giant donut. Head towards the barricade of the Evac Center.  _______________________________________________________________________________   3 - Sudden Impact  x1 Car Key - At the end of the first parking lot (just past the collapsed pedestrian bridge), you will find a Stealth Scarab on some stairs. Go up these stairs and you can locate an over-sized car key near a sitting corpse.  x1 Souvenir - As you approach the crash site to collect the samples, you have the option of going through another (smaller) parking lot. This subterranean small parking lot has the item in the cashier's booth. Open the booth door with a powered melee attack.  x1 Camera - In the dusty street, after getting the alien tissue sample, and tasked with meeting Gould at FDR drive. Just sprint towards the sewers / aqueducts and you will likely trigger the camera.  x1 Dog Tag - As you near the exit from the sewers/aqueduct where alien Ceph and Cell soldiers are fighting one another, you will encounter two doors -- one leads to the exit (avoid), and another that has a dogtag on a sofa (and you can see the exit marker on the other side of the chain fence barricade).  _______________________________________________________________________________   4 - Road Rage  x1 Souvenir - At the start of the level, go up the stairs in the room with the exposed flame. Don't head for the exit, but look for a small room with a "God Help Us" grafitti (note this is generic grafitti througout the level) and a shopping cart. The item you want is a model toy car in the corner with the infected NPC.  x1 Car Key - After the quake and the initial dust storm, Gould notifies you of a CELL checkpoint. Your goal is to locate an armored vehicle to destroy the armored car blocking your way on. Once you locate the vehicle you're supposed to hijack, put it behind Alcatraz and put the suspension bridge's tower in front of you. Walk forward. A yellow barricade wall should be to your right and a building plaza to your left. Look for a break in the yellow barricade wall and head into the ammo dump. A container in the ammo dump has the item you want.  x1 Camera - Upon entering the tunnel with or without a vehicle, the camera is near the "back-up" armored car at the start of the tunnel. The camera is hooked up on the sea/ocean side of the thruway.  _______________________________________________________________________________   5 - Lab Rat  x1 Car Key - At the start of the level, there is a freeway to the left of your starting building. Follow it to the dead-end (and put the rest of the pier to your right). The item is on the ground near a car wreck and a rotten corpse.  x1 Emails - Inside the first dockside warehouse, before using the elevator inside (it's a one-way trip), there is a PDA in a first floor office. The PDA will be on a table by a copy machine and likely guarded by a CELL soldier.  x1 Dog Tag - Follow Gould to the study and check the bookshelves near the brown comfy sofa-chair. This is after sitting in the nanosuit chair. Note you cannot fire weapons during this sequence. If you leave the room when the CELL assassination squad appears, you cannot get the item unless you replay the mission.  x1 Souvenir - Kill the CELL gunship in Gould's lab and drop into the hole it makes. Don't leave the floor where the gunship wreck is yet; locate the windows overlooking the cargo crane on the pier. The item you want is on a wood crate near these windows. Check the corner of the room.  _______________________________________________________________________________   6 - Gate Keepers  x1 Car Key - To get from the rooftops to the street safely, you ride a broken work scaffold-platform down. Upon crashing, you will see a Pharmacy ahead of you. Approaching it spawns enemies. Without moving from the spot where the platform crashed, turn left 90 degrees and locate an alley with an infected NPC. The item you want is on the metal stairs.  x1 Camera - When you arrive at the church to "cause a distraction" for Gould, stay on the street and put the church to your right. The street with this camera is at the edge of the map, to the church's side.  x1 Souvenir - On some cardboard boxes at the church's front door. You simply go right up to the church's doors (they are fake for purposes of game progression) and the item is on the boxes piled at the door. You probably want to snipe all the enemies before you head inside.  x1 Emails - Inside the orange Command and Control trailer in the church courtyard. You will need to complete both distractions before the orange trailer is unlocked (this is for another story objective). Once you have made the two distractions, you can go inside the orange bungalow and take the PDA.  _______________________________________________________________________________   7 - Dead Man Walking  x1 Car Key - From the "Corner Tower" (the tall building where you started the level), use the mini-map and aim yourself southwest with one of the boulevards. The building on the triangular city block should be on your left, and a building with U.S. flags will be on your right. At the end of the avenue, put the Corner Tower to your left and you can see the item next to a teddy bear by a tree. This set up is at the top of an underground loading ramp.  x1 Emails - In the security office where you activate the elevator. Get the item before using the elevator. Practically across from the souvenir.  x1 Souvenir - In the security office where you activate the elevator. Get the item before using the lift. The item is practically across from the email PDA.  x1 Dog Tag - Ride the security elevator down to "locate Gould". You can find this item on the vault floor just outside where you exit the elevator, past the velvet ropes. You can navigate over or past the light obstructions in the hallway.  _______________________________________________________________________________   8 - Seat of Power  x1 Dog Tag - Go through the evacuation center until Hargreaves contacts you about "VIPs getting the treatment they deserve". There should be a bungalow with two infected NPCs sitting on a nearby bench. Enter the bungalow behind them. There should be two standing flourescent emergency lights and a lot of EMAT body bags. The item is on a table at one end of the bungalow next to some suitcases.  x1 Emails - Go past the evac center and enter the next building. Hargreaves will talk about the Ceph breaking down the human race into e-friendly waste. The lobby of this building has a PDA on the reception/concierge counter. Get it now as you cannot come back later.  x1 Souvenir - Go past the evac center and enter the next building. Hargreaves will talk about the Ceph breaking down the human race into e-friendly waste. Go up to the second story; the room before the hallway with the ammunition boxes has the item. Remember you cannot come back to the zone if you go past it.  x1 Car Key - Past the barricade, you will be on a final clearing to the alien tower (City Hall). There is an elevated high-speed train station where you start this section. Get to the corpse at the station, and you will find the item next to it.  x1 Camera - Near the end of the level, you will be going up a broken road to your objective. About 50 game-distance units from the end, you will see the camera next to one of the alien robot tentacles.  _______________________________________________________________________________   9 - Dark Heart  Note that all the extras here are collected before attacking the spore tentacles and fighting the Ceph Devastators.  x1 Dog Tag - The subway tunnel goes down into a shallow pool of water, then back up (where you fight more Ceph/aliens). Under Tactical Point 2 (Ledge Grab), there is a door to a maintenance area. The item you want is in there. Alternately, locate Tactical Point 1 (Explore) that leads to the M-60 LMG. From Tactical Point 1 (Explore), look across the tracks and you can see the door leading to the item.  x1 Souvenir - Before going through the green door (the one where Hargreaves contacts you about finding new scanning gear), turn around 180 degrees and check out the room with the grenade bin for this item.  x2 Dog Tag - Get Hargreaves message about finding new scanning gear and enter the tunnel after that event. Atop the red worker's scaffold, there's a corpse with a DSG-1 sniper rifle. The item is near this corpse.  _______________________________________________________________________________  10 - Semper Fi or Die  x1 Souvenir - At the first firefight with the big hole in the ground, there is a "Super Saving" store near Tactical Point 2 (Snipe). The item you want is in there.  x1 Camera - After defeating the Ceph Devastator (big armored alien with a mini-gun), you can drive a HMMV (Humm-Vee) back to Chino and the marines. To the left of the vehicle in this section is an ammo bin and C4; the speed camera is at the top of this ramp -- you will need to sprint and jump off (use armor mode to reduce impact damage) to trigger this camera.  x1 Dog Tag - Destroy the Ceph gunship and follow Chino to the sewer tunnel/pipe that ends the level. Before you approach the sewer tunnel, you will encounter an ammo bin with the item by a nearby corpse.  _______________________________________________________________________________  11 - Corporate Collapse  x1 Car Key - At the start of level, there is a commuter coach in the ravine. Check inside for this item.  x1 Souvenir - At the perimeter of the building, you fight some Ceph to get into the objective building. The Statue of Liberty's head will be in a pool of water. Go through the underwater hole and take the item inside the statue's head.  x1 Emails - When you leave the parking lot and enter the building, the office next to the metal detectors has the PDA. Check the windows that look into the lobby.  x1 Dog Tag - After being swept out of the H-R building by the flooding event, turn around from the sewer where you start and locate a tugboat. Stand on its bow. Look back towards the sewer entrance (where you proceed with the mission); you will be unable to see the entrance but you can see a pipe embedded in the wall and a waterfall. There should also be an upwell of water between the pipe and waterfall. Go to that upswell of current and dive with nano-vision. You should be able to see the item next to an underwater car wreck.  _______________________________________________________________________________  12 - Train to Catch  x1 Camera - The main boulevard leading to library, near the wrecked bus between Tactical Point 1 (Use) and Tactical Point 3 (Take).  x1 Souvenir - On the New York Main Library's reception desk. Check the area near the postcard racks. Note the lions in the Ghostbusters game are destroyed.  x1 Car Key - Past the firefights in the library courtyard, there is a decontamination room (the soldiers occasionally call it the 'decon tent'). In there, check the control booth for the item. Don't exit through the orange EMAT tunnel until you collected the item.  _______________________________________________________________________________  13 - Unsafe Haven  x1 Dog Tag - Locate the NPC, "Sergeant Rainer". After he tasks you with locating the detonators near the Onyx Building, the gate next to him opens. Go straight past the gate; you will pass an emplaced missile launcher on your left, then a second emplaced launcher on your right. The item you want is on a pallet of boxes past the second missile launcher.  x1 Camera - On your way to the Onyx Building to locate Rainer's detonators, you will encounter a coffee shop called "Suburban Chronicle". The speed-trap camera is next to this store, but you will need to sprint against the camera to trigger it.  x1 Souvenir - Head for the Onyx Building objective. Right next to the big red button that opens the door to the underground parking lot (the one you're supposed to activate) is a desk with the item on it.  _______________________________________________________________________________  14 - Terminus -   x1 Dog Tag - In the room where you meet the NPCs "Colonel Barclay" and Gould, look for the item between two marines who are managing some computer systems (it's to your left once you regain control).  x1 Souvenir - Follow the NPC, "Colonel Barclay" into the planning room and look for the item on the table with the soldiers looking over a map.  _______________________________________________________________________________  15 - Power Out  x1 Car Key - Before you drop down to Times Square, you will have encountered an EVAC checkpoint gate. The small office next to this EVAC gate has the item on a table.  x1 Souvenir - Before you drop down to Times Square, you will have encountered an EVAC checkpoint gate. There is a small store (a 'sandwich bar') next to the barricade. Locate the open sidewalk and enter the shop. The item is in the left-most room, on the cashier's counter.  x1 Camera - Just past the EVAC center gate, there is a traffic camera overlooking the street.  x1 Dog Tag - Defeat the Pinger, and head to the landing zone. Go forwards and right to locate a table next to a parked deuce-and-a-half (military truck). The item you want is on that table.  _______________________________________________________________________________  16 - Eye of the Storm  x1 Emails - PDA is on a desk past the front entrance of the green building. For the easiest route, head through Tactical Point 1 (Flank) and simply walk in the front door while cloaked and crouched (for no-sound).  x2 Emails - In the substation's transformer room (the place where you ride the elevator down and try to shut down power without detection for the trophy/achievement), there is a small office on the second level (the level with the metal catwalks) with a PDA. You can get it after you power down the place, but there will be more enemies than normal.  x1 Souvenir -  Inside the corner watchtower of the substation (the tower near the water). You can avoid the electricty (not recommended), or come back when the power is off. There are more enemies, but nothing silent sniping won't take care of.  x1 Dog Tag - When Lockheart traps you, wait for Hargreaves to open a side door to a storage room. Go inside and find the item on some boxes near the ammo bin.  x3 Emails - The control room where Lockheart was. After you take him down, turn around 180 degrees and take the PDA on the control console. _______________________________________________________________________________  17 - Masks Off  x1 Dog Tag - At Tactical Point 2 (Explore). Get to the second floor of the building and inspect the tactical point near the ammo bin. The item you want is there.  x1 Souvenir - In the library room where Hargreave communicates to you. Check out the big fancy table under the big screen TV.  x1 Emails - After meeting Hargreave, you start your escape from the Prism facility. The first room with red emergency lights has a PDA on the ground.  x1 Camera - On the bridge during your escape, get to the upper level and go past the missing persons panels. Keep in the left lane (but on your side of the road) near the meridian.
