Electronic Arts have revealed an approximate release period for their latest instalment in SSX (Snowboard Supercross) series of games, January 2012. Entitled SSX: Deadly Descends, this latest snowboarding sim features new mechanics, like overhauled physics system, possibility of employing a wingsuit in mid-air, dynamic snow particles with their own physics properties that can even trigger avalanches. The game will also feature real locations, rather than fictional ones in past SSX games.
SSX: Deadly Descents was first revealed at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, and small amount of information has been given since, but EA stated that the game will be playable at E3 in June.
