Forget your worries and prepare to grin: First SSX gameplay footage is 100% authentic (and brilliant) (SSX: Deadly Descent)

You know those mad ten-year-old girls who are obsessed with ponies to the point of being utterly shitting terrifying? The ones with so many pony posters on their walls that they don't need wallpaper any more, and who walk around with riding helmets on 24/7 even though they don't actually own a pony, and who've nearly killed their cat several times by trying to ride the poor f*cker by way of replacement?

You know how those mad little sods get if they're ever allowed in the presence of an actual, real pony, with all the screaming and giggling and crying and jumping and shaking all rolled into one ball of psychotically excited emotion?

That's me looking at this new SSX gameplay footage, that is. Yeah, turns out they very probably haven't f*cked it up after all.

Okay, so a large chunk of the gameplay is by way of untextured environmental renders, and the rest is pre-alpha footage, but bloody hell does that looks, sound and feel like pure, unsullied, undiluted SSX3. Look at the track shapes! Look at the board handling! Look at the tricks! Look at the�insane environmental concept designs!
